Abled and Independent
At “The Sky Is My Limit”, we perceive Ghanaians with varying disabilities as distinct individuals possessing untapped potential—capable contributors to their communities in remarkably profound ways.
Our organization strives to offer young Ghanaians with varying disabilities a supportive environment and community where their skills are nurtured and cultivated, enabling them to realize their full potential.
From Donation...
Since its inception in 2012, “The Sky Is My Limit” has been dedicated to making a difference in Ghana by building housing and work facilities for individuals living with varying disabilities. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and sponsors, we proudly inaugurated The Sky House residence in 2018, swiftly followed by the Women’s Residence in 2019.
Currently, we accommodate 22 residents on our premises, and we have plans to enlarge the Women’s Residence to accommodate additional individuals. The progress and development observed among our residents in recent years have been significant and worthy of celebration. None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our donors and sponsors.
...to Self-Sustainability
As we persist in seeking assistance through donations, we are equally committed to achieving self-sustainability for our operations. In addition to acquiring life skills, our residents also enhance their vocational abilities by learning to design and produce various Ghanaian crafts.
Our Campaign
Currently, The Sky House relies on funding to sustain its operations, with donated funds allocated towards purchasing supplies and compensating the supporting staff for their work.
